Mixtophonics was started by Korsrud in 2018 as a way of bringing together electronic and acoustic music artists from diverse genres and practices to breakdown sound barriers. The series found a home at LanaLou’s, a funky, welcoming café bar on Powell Street that provides space for musicians from different walks of life to meet, create freely and join a boundless community.
